The Niche Fighter Fête is a celebration of our varied and vibrant independent developers, artists and communities. Hosted by Mr.MKL, Flynnjeux and Thatpunk_ we are bringing together these unique scenes to celebrate what makes them important, showcase their talent and support these artists in taking their craft to the next level.

We are hosting amazing tournaments, thought provoking panels, fun games and showcasing beautiful creations all in an effort to help fund the continued development of Mega Knockdown, developed by dhamster.

Mega Knockdown is a simultaneous turn-based adaptation of the 2D fighting game genre. Predicting the opponent’s actions, controlling space and pressing the advantage are your keys to victory.

It's a wonderfully unique niche fighter that currently uses frames of the internet famous "Jerma" Green screen video for it's characters. But MKD shouldn't be written off as a meme.

So, throughout the Niche Fighter Fête we will be raising funds for dhamster so they can have proper concept art produced for their in game characters and to help further Mega Knockdown's development.

Together we can make a real difference for some of the hardest working indie developers in the fighting game community.
